Welcome to JayDax Computer Information Centre
JayDax CIC is a privately owned Web business, based in the UK
As you can tell from our website title, this is an information site. We offer advice and assistance with most Web related items. We aim to be informative, helpful and to some extent; 'fun'.
We are here because when we first started using the World Wide Web in the 1990s we had trouble finding the information and services we needed. The information was there, but we didn't know what to look for. Since then the Internet has grown hugely but the problem still remains.
Each day we discover new services, information and ideas which have become available on the Web. When we spot them - we'll pass them on. Did you know for instance that you can look up web pages that are no longer on Internet by searching for them in the Internet Wayback Machine or that you can use Google as a calculator? Just type in what you want in the search box e.g. 27*13 and press enter for the result. Itded will also do conversions e.g. '11 US gallons in litres'. Google has changed this recently so that an on-screen calculator appears when you type in any calculation. Try '9-8='.
Like music? Then try out the Jango website. If you want to hear the music we like then do a search for the 'username' JayDax there. Have you heard Gareth Icke yet? He's good and has released an album called 'It gets worse at night' which includes 'Feels like a race' Click the link to watch it on YouTube. Buy it here.
JayDax started in 1997 and we've been adding 'our bit' to the Web ever since. Most of our information is free but if you don't have the time then we can do it for you at a very reasonable rate.
We also write books - Check out our techno-thriller series (also found under 'crime', 'medical' and 'Romance') 'A Vested Interest'. Currently we are working on book 9 of the series and over 1.2 million words.
Review (From Amazon.com)
It is a story of corporate jealousy at the highest levels, greed, spite, vengence, advanced techonology, medicine, love and betrayal, and the very essence of life itself.
WOW - that is a lot to cover in one book! Read this book - you will be glad you did.
