Chinook is our once in a life time dog he came to us from my good friend Jean at Snowshoes Kennels and I will be grateful to her forever as Chinook is everything and more than I could ever have hoped and wished for .

I had been wanting a black and white male malamute for quite a while and had looked at buying one from Jean on several occasions As Tango Is at the top of my favourite malamutes list J but then I always changed my mind at the last minute as I would always decide that it wasn’t the right time to bring a new dog into the pack .

Then In January 2007 I mailed Jean and she sent me some pix of two Black & white male pups as soon as I saw Nookie at a mere 2wks old I knew he was the one for me hence the kennel name Destined To Be .

Chinook is the softest dog I’ve ever known he is sweet and loving funny and friendly he has a captivating energy and everybody who meets him falls in love with him , his temperament is second to none and he loves everybody and everything he meets including most small furry things , horses , cows and other males and children to short list .

Chinook is excelling in his obedience training winning his first obedience competition coming 1st out of 50 entrants he works in harness effortlessly and can run with his dad on bike tirelessly. We hope to show Chinook in 2009 and hope he has a promising start and lots of fun

Chinook is our pride and joy and will be a hard act for any further doggy additions to our family to follow.
