The Tyne Bridges - The Kween ov Aal the Rrivers

Ocean
You are listening to a melody of well known Geordie tunes.

Follow the Tyne

"The Tyne, the Tyne, the coaly Tyne
The kween ov aal the rrivers
"
You're looking at two of the Tyne Bridges.

The one at the back is the Tyne Bridge - a prototype for the Sidney Harbour Bridge. The one in the foreground is the Swing Bridge, the oldest of the Tyne Bridges at Newcastle, England. To this day, it still opens to allow shipping traffic to pass.

On the left, is Newcastle's quayside; scene of a Sunday morning marketplace.

On the right is Gateshead - where the South begins, (if you're a Geordie that is).
