Sound Vibrations
We,
like everything else around us are made up of sound vibrations
with each being on a slightly different frequency. Although they
are not 'exactly' the same, on rare occasions you will find some
that are close enough to the same frequency that communication
is possible on a higher level. Music, is one of those languages
that communicates on that level - the higher plane, if you follow.
Because our frequencies, meaning the sound vibrations
of our own bodies and 'spirits' (if that is what you want to call
your 'higher' self) music will effect us differently and because
our sound vibrations are affected by the vibrations of 'mood' or
'emotion' how music affects us will vary. For example, when I hear
a good opera like Giovanni (and I don't particularly care for opera
- it has to be good for me to listen to it) I am touched to the
point of tears. For my son - (most of the time) all he hears is
a lady screaming at the top of her voice. Now, I can play something
like Robbie Williams 'Advertising Space' and he's off, into his
own little sound frequency world. Don't
get me wrong, I'm not suggesting that Robbie Williams, or for that
fact, even Texas or Queen are bad, I like them both! As a matter
of fact, I like 'some' of all types of music, even rap and garage. My
goal is to help you to better understand what you are listening
to and help you build an appreciation of 'music' in general. Anyone
with any kind of musical talent (whether it be creating or listening
to music) will agree that anything that is pleasant to the ears
would be considered 'music'.
