All Dogs Go To Heaven II
All Dogs Go to Heaven II

Description

Cartoon canine Charlie Barkin (Sheen), bored with life in heaven, volunteers a return to earth in an effort to retrieve Gabriel's horn, which was stolen by evil dog Carface (Borgnine). There, he falls in love, befriends a boy who needs him, and does battle with a devilish cat. Big improvement over the first picture in terms of story and music, but fails to match the original's lush animation production. Followed by a direct-to-video sequel.

The Secret of Nimh
The Secret of Nimh

Description

When her family homestead is threatened, a young widowed mouse seeks help, and comes upon a secret society of superintelligent rats. Well-animated adaptation of Robert C. O'Brien's prize-winning children's book, but not as involving, or as well paced, as it ought to be. First feature from Don Bluth Productions, the studio founded by a group of former Disney artists. Shannen Doherty is the voice of one of the mice children.

Rock - a - Doodle - Do
Rock - A - Doodle Do

Description

A cocky cock heads for Vegas after suffering a severe blow to his ego, finds success as a nightclub superstar in the Elvis mode. A better idea might have been to team him with Rover Dangerfield in a super neon musical spectacle; kiddie cartoon is missing the essential components to make it more than passable entertainment for six-year-olds.
