Crummock Water is a lonely lake a little off the beaten track. It's a beautiful place to go for a walk, however.

"One of my favourite walks is from Buttermere over High Crag, High Style and Red Pike before descending to Crummock Water. It's a long, though not too difficult walk (although it doesn't seem like that when you're walking up the scree at the start of the walk)", says Jay.
