 Madonna's
latest release, 'Confessions On A Dancefloor', which would be her
10th studio album, hit number one on the Billboard 200,  selling
350,606 copies in it's first week alone. 'Confession On A Dancefloor'
would also hit number one in 30 different countries and ship over
3,000,000 copies in the first week of its release.
Making the number one position in as many countries as it did,
'Confessions On a Dancefloor'
broke a record previously held by 'The Beatles'. As of February
2006 it has sold over six million copies worldwide. The hit single,
'Hung Up', became one of Madonna's fastest selling releases.
